Hi everyone!
I'm thrilled to share my latest environment art project: a modular cyberpunk room inspired by the gritty, neon soaked aesthetic of Cyberpunk, with sci-fi influences from games like Callisto Protocol and Dead Space, as well as iconic films like Event Horizon, Sunshine, Alien, and more. As a huge fan of these games and movies, I set out to capture that intense, dystopian vibe think flickering holograms, worn out tech, and an eerie, hightech atmosphere that feels like it’s straight out of a sci fi thriller.
This scene was all about showcasing my midpoly modeling and level design skills. The room is fully modular, allowing for easy expansion and reuse, with a second UV channel. I crafted unique props from scratch, merging some into shared textures to optimize performance without sacrificing detail. In total, I built 25 custom static meshes and a handful of prefabs, one decal sheet, while pulling in complementary assets from the Unreal Fab marketplace to fill out the space and focus on the core creative work.
Whether you're into game environments, UE5 workflows, or just love that cyberpunk aesthetic, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks for stopping!
